In the Mediterranean Sea, Italian fishermen rescue an unconscious American man (Matt Damon) floating adrift with

two gunshot wounds in his back. The boat's skipper finds a tiny laser projector surgically implanted under the man's skin at the hip. When activated, it displays the number of a safe deposit box in Zürich. When he regains consciousness, the man discovers he has dissociative (or psychogenic) amnesia. It is soon revealed the amnesia is selective, as the man realizes he knows several languages and advanced combat skills. Much later he remembers fragments of the C.I.A. trauma-based programming which erased and replaced his identity. When the ship docks, he sets off to investigate the deposit box. At CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, Deputy Director Ward Abbott (Brian Cox) learns that a CIA assassination attempt against exiled African dictator Nykwana Wombosi (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) failed. Meanwhile, in Zürich, the amnesiac man incapacitates two policemen using advanced hand-to-hand combat when they attempt to arrest him for vagrancy. The next morning, he visits the bank and opens the safe deposit box of the account number displayed by the implanted projector to find several passports containing his picture under different names, nationalities, and addresses, large amounts of assorted currencies, and a handgun. Taking an American passport name, Jason Bourne, he leaves with everything but the handgun. As he leaves, a bank employee contacts Operation Treadstone, a CIA black operation program. Alexander Conklin (Chris Cooper), head of Treadstone, assures Abbott that he will clean up Jason's failure against Wombosi, activating three agents to take down Bourne: Castel, Manheim, and the Professor (Clive Owen). Chased by police, Jason is then pursued through a U.S. consulate but manages to evade capture. He encounters a German woman named Marie Helena Kreutz (Franka Potente), offering her $20,000 to drive him to the address in Paris on his French driving license. Jason arrives at the address, an apartment, where he hits redial on his phone and is connected to the Hotel Regina. Jason enquires about some names: a "Jason Bourne" is not registered there, but "John Michael Kane" was and died two weeks ago in a car crash. Castel then ambushes Jason and Marie at the apartment, but Jason defeats him in a hand-to-hand fight. Marie finds wanted posters in Castel's bag with both her and Jason's pictures, while Castel jumps out of a window to his death. Marie, in shock, is later resolved to join Jason as they escape and investigate "John Michael Kane". Wombosi had contacted police about the attempt on his life. To convince him that his assailant, Kane, is dead, Conklin plants a body in a Paris morgue but Wombosi is not fooled. The Professor then assassinates Wombosi as a result. Jason poses as Kane and gains documents about Wombosi's yacht and finds that an assailant was shot twice while escaping it. He concludes that he is the assassin, before seeking refuge in the French countryside with Marie and her ex lover Eamon (Tim Dutton) and his children. Conklin traces their location and the Professor arrives in the morning. Jason grabs Eamon's shotgun and outflanks the Professor in the fields, mortally wounding him. The Professor reveals their mutual connection to Treadstone before dying. Jason sends Marie away with Eamon. He contacts Conklin using the Professor's phone to arrange a meet, but Conklin brings back-up, so Jason instead tracks his vehicle to locate Treadstone's Paris safe house. Jason breaks in and holds Conklin and logistics technician Nicolette "Nicky" Parsons (Julia Stiles) at gunpoint, beginning to remember his last mission through successive flashbacks. Kane was Jason's assumed identity during his mission to infiltrate Wombosi's yacht and kill him; but Jason aborts the assassination because Wombosi's children were unexpectedly present and he can't bring himself to murder their father right in front of them. He receives the gunshot wounds while attempting to escape. Jason now tells Conklin that he is leaving Treadstone and warns him not to follow him. After their altercation, both Conklin and Jason leave, with Jason fighting his way out through more agents. A nearby Manheim steps out of his car and kills Conklin. Abbott, in order to terminate Treadstone, ordered the hit. Before an oversight committee, Abbot dismisses Treadstone and announces a new project codenamed "Blackbriar". Some time later, Jason finds Marie renting out scooters to tourists on Mykonos, and the two reunite.

On October 29, 1993, Beatrice High School student Charlie Grimille is accidentally hanged and killed after a prop
malfunction during a presentation of the play "The Gallows". His parents, along with the whole audience, witnessed the tragic event. Twenty years later, on October 28, 2013, the school attempts to put on a new performance of "The Gallows". Reese Houser is excited, as this gives him a chance to grow closer to his crush Pfeifer Ross. His friend Ryan Shoos is dismissive of the play, and comes up with the idea to vandalize the set. Reese is reluctant to take part, but agrees when Ryan promises that he'll be able to console Pfeifer afterwards, giving them a chance to kiss. Later that night Reese, Ryan, and Ryan's girlfriend Cassidy Spilker sneak into the school, only to run in to Pfeifer, who saw Reese's car. Knowing they cannot vandalize the sets with Pfeifer there, the group tries to leave but finds that they have been locked inside and there is no cell phone reception. Disturbed, Cassidy admits the trio's real reason for being in the school, which angers Pfeifer. As the group tries to look for a way out of the school, they find news coverage of Charlie's death that includes an interview with his girlfriend Alexis. They also discover that Charlie was not supposed to have performed that day and was only on stage because he was the understudy for the main actor, Reese's father Rick. As the night progresses Ryan and Cassidy are both killed by Charlie Grimille dressed as the Hangman, a character from "The Gallows". Reese and Pfeifer unsuccessfully try to escape the spirit and end up on the stage, where the spirit begins to choke her. Realizing that the spirit is Charlie and that he wants them to act out the final scene (in which Reese and Charlie's character are hanged), Reese and Pfeifer try and manage to successfully complete this task. However, when Reese puts the noose around his neck for the final portion, he is hanged and killed by Charlie. Once he is dead, Pfeifer and Charlie both bow, as Alexis, who was watching the performance, gives a standing ovation. The police enter a house where Pfeifer and Alexis are residing and watching footage of Charlie's death, indicating that Pfeifer is the daughter of Charlie and Alexis. When one of the officers attempts to question Pfeifer and Alexis about Charlie, Pfeifer warns him, saying, "You shouldn't say that name." The officer then calls for his partner, who witnesses him being dragged by a noose, killing him. Upon turning around, Charlie appears and attacks and kills him, as the screen cuts to black.

Ali Hassan (Ali Zafar) is a reporter with Danka TV, a downmarket local TV channel in Karachi, Pakistan. He is keen

to migrate to the US for a better life and wants to work for an American news channel. He gets a chance to fly to the US, but ruins it on board while filming his own audition. He recites the words "Hijack" and "Bomb" too many times; thus scaring his fellow passengers and flight crew. As soon as he reaches the USA, he is deported. Furthermore, because of this incident his visa application is rejected six times in seven years. While covering a local event for his channel, he comes across an Osama Bin Laden look-alike, Noora (Pradhuman Singh), and hits upon an idea to make a fake Osama tape. He manages to convince his assistant Gul (Nikhil Ratnaparkhi) about the merits of his plan. With help from his travel agent's assistant Zoya (Sugandha Garg) and a local radio jockey Qureshi (Rahul Singh), he is able to make the tape by tricking Noora into unknowingly posing as Bin Laden. He then sells the tape to the owner of his channel, hoping to raise money for a new false identity, a new passport and a renewed attempt at getting the elusive US visa. However, the gravity of their action strikes them when the US Government takes the tape seriously and gets involved, as do the Pakistani intelligence agencies. Noora, too, comes to know about the trick played upon him and goes into hiding in his house. Ali decides to defuse the situation by making another tape in which Osama would be declaring ceasefire with US. He manages to convince Noora and Qureshi. During the shooting of the tape in Danka TV studio, Noora unwittingly detonates a grenade, which kills his beloved prize rooster. Depressed, Noora runs away from the location with the Osama-makeup still on, forcing Ali and his team to follow suit. They manage to get hold of Noora and try to convince him for another shoot. Meanwhile, the FBI team, led by Ted Wood (Barry John) and Usman (Chinmay Mandlekar), head of the Pakistani intelligence agency tracks down the location of Ali and his team. The police arrests Noora, Ali and his team. Ted is delirious that he could at last catch Osama bin Laden. However, during the interrogation, the truth is revealed and to save Ted's face, Ali convinces him about his idea of making a tape of Osama declaring ceasefire. The film ends with US accepting the offer of ceasefire and Ted getting elected as Defence Secretary. Ali is, at last, able to make it to the US and Noora too changes his lifestyle, marries Zoya and helps her with the daily routine in her beauty parlor. Usman is shown to be admitted in a mental hospital as he tries to tell the truth to the world.

Dimple Chaddha (Parineeti Chopra) is a spoilt brat and only daughter of Sandeep Chaddha, the creator of "Chaddha

Industries", a huge property company in Delhi. Her boyfriend is Sunny Singh (Ranveer Singh), a fitness instructor at a local gym. While travelling with Dimple on his bike, he stops at an old bungalow and proceeds to break in to harass the residents. Sunny tells a confused Dimple that the bungalow he vandalised belongs to his family and it had been illegally encroached upon by the tenants. His grandfather, father and mother have all died recently due to the stress of fighting the court case to remove tenants. The government however as ruled in favour of the tenants and he has to pay thousands in property tax to avoid being arrested. Dimple convinces her father, Mr. Chaddha (Shireesh Sharma) to help Sunny get his ancestral property back, to which he agrees as the bungalow is on a sought after road. He sends his goons to forcibly evict the tenants. After this, Mr. Chaddha convinces Sunny to sell him the property for much less than market value. Later, Mr. Chaddha is arrested for evicting the tenants as unbeknownst to Mr. Chaddha, the family living there had a stay order due to a family dispute in the court for years on ownership. However, this dispute did not involve a "Sunny Singh". Dimple becomes heartbroken on knowing she's been conned and tries to find Sunny, who has already made his escape by boarding a flight to Mumbai. Sunny Singh in reality is only one of the fake identities of a serial con-artist named Ricky Bahl (Ranveer Singh). In Mumbai, Ricky re-emerges working as a cleaner at an office building where he spies on Raina Parulekar (Dipannita Sharma), a headstrong go-getter businesswoman in a large PR firm called Synergy Communications. She's been ordered by her boss to obtain a rare M.F. Hussain painting. Ricky later meets Raina where he, pretending to be an art aficionado named "Deven Shah", tells her that he has been loaned the painting she needs by reputed businessmen, the Suri brothers, for an art exhibition. Raina, desperate to deliver on her promise, makes a deal with one of the Suri brothers, Manoj(who is actually Ricky, using a voice encryption software) over the phone. She agrees to buy the painting for Rs. 12 million. He tells Raina to give half the amount as an advance to Deven, as well as a cheque for Deven's commission. At a grand party hosted by Synergy, the painting is unveiled but the real Manoj Suri contacts Raina's boss and reprimands him over the phone saying that he never sold the painting so this one must be a fake. Raina's boss berates Raina for her ignorant mistake, accusing her of trying to con the company for Rs. 6 million. Humiliated, Raina tells the TV news that she was duped by Deven Shah. Dimple sees the news on TV and suspects that Deven Shah could be her "Sunny". She contacts Raina, who instantly recognises that Sunny Singh is indeed Deven Shah. Simultaneously, Raina receives another call from Lucknow from a widow named Saira Rashid (Aditi Sharma), who explains her story of having been conned by a man named Iqbal Khan, another alias of Ricky's. Raina asks Dimple and Saira to come to Mumbai so that they can make a plan to find and con their common conman, who they simply name "Bloody Kameena (BK)" (Bloody Scoundrel). They decide to play the same con on him as he's done to them by baiting him with a too good to be true business offer. The plan is the following: Ishika (Anushka Sharma), a smart, sweet-talking and cunning saleswoman, would act as the daughter of an NRI American business tycoon, who wishes to open a restaurant in India to prove to her father that she has business acumen. Ishika is to con BK into investing in the fake restaurant by offering him a partnership proposal. To find BK, Raina uses the help of one of her hacker friends, who gives them a list of all prepaid numbers from around India which have the same unique "caller tune" (the famous dialogue by Shah Rukh Khan from "Baazigar") also used by BK. Using this they manage to find him in Goa, where he goes by the alias of "Diego Vaz". Ricky, apparently unaware of the trap set for him, slowly starts falling for it. However, in the process of conning Ricky, Ishika falls in love with him, knowing well that Ricky, in turn, has also fallen in love with her. Ishika is tormented as she feels pulled between her promise towards the three girls and her feelings for Ricky. Ishika is conflicted about conning him as she realizes she has feelings for him, but assures the three girls that she is still on their side. Ricky overhears the four girls loudly arguing about him and he realizes that he has been set up. He is heartbroken and finally realises the pain he gave to everyone when he conned them. However Ricky remains firm and wanting vengeance he makes a plan to con the four girls. Ricky confesses to Ishika; he tells her he is a conman and wants to leave this life behind and that he wants to marry her. Ishika tells the girls about this latest development and Raina reminds them that he is a conman after all, and that this is likely his biggest con yet. Saira then develops a plan to use Ricky's proposal to the girls' advantage. The girls set up a fake "father" (Akshay Anand) of Ishika, who orders Ricky to buy a plot in the name of Ishika, so she can be safe in case Ricky absconds. Ricky agrees, but since he does not have enough cash, he asks Ishika to lend him Rs. 4.5 million, half of the plot's worth. The deal is made and all the property papers are transferred to Ishika but they soon realise that this was all a con by Ricky. He bought the worthless "swamp" plot for Rs. 300,000 under a fake alias, then asked the agent to sell that same land to Ishika for Rs. 9 million. That way, the money which Ishika had conned out of Ricky would come back to him. The three girls blame Ishika for cheating them and vent their anger out on her. Ishika leaves and returns to Mumbai. The three return to pack up and leave, only to find Ricky sitting in their garden. He explains why he came back that he didn't feel good about conning the girl he truly loved and that the four girls have changed him into now becoming an honest and decent man. He returns the combined money he stole from them of Rs. 10 million and leaves. The three girls realise Ricky's and Ishika's love for each other and reunite them. He travels to Mumbai and meets Ishika and proposes to her. She accepts when he tells her his real name, Ricky Bahl.

Set in Palm Beach, Florida, Sean Armstrong (Hogan) is an ex-wrestler and Burt Wilson (Sherman Hemsley) is his

friend and former manager, now running a bodyguard service. Sean is suffering from wrestler-days' nightmares, while Burt has a bum leg from saving Sean's life and financial difficulties. With much whining and acting, Burt manages to persuade Sean to take a bodyguard job for Alex Mason, Sr. (Austin Pendleton), the head of the prestigious tech firm, Mason Systems, which is developing a new anti-missile system, the Peacefinder Project. The vital information for this project is stored on a microchip. But it is neither the inventor nor the chip Sean has to guard - he is to look after the two Mason kids: Alex Jr. (Robert Hy Gorman) and Kate (Madeline Zima). As it turns out, Alex and Kate are two highly mischievous brats who vie for their often-too-absent father's attention by wreaking havoc in the household via elaborate and rather vicious pranks and booby-traps, with their specialty targets being the nannies he has assigned to take care of them (Alex Sr. is a widower). Sean witnesses the last nanny jumping into the fountain in front of the house to extinguish the fire in her hair. However, their father proves to be either too distracted or too lenient, which causes the children to continue their schemes. Thinking that he is a new (albeit unusual) replacement, they find a new target in Sean. But after one prank too many, which involves a swimming pool full of red dye ("the Pit of Blood"), Sean finally exerts his authority and not only gets to quiet Alex and Kate down, he also manages to open the eyes of their father to his family problems. However, the real trouble has just started. The unscrupulous and vain Tommy Thanatos (David Johansen) is after Alex Sr.'s chip, and he will not stop at anything to get it. As it turns out, Sean and Burt had been once at the receiving end of one of his schemes: he had ordered them to throw a match, and when they had not complied, he attempted to shoot them. However, Burt threw himself in front of Sean, taking the bullet in his right leg (thus his bum leg); Sean had chased Thanatos to the roof of the stadium, and after a furious fight Thanatos ended up plunging head-first into an empty pool. This accident fractured the top of his skull, forcing the attachment of a steel skullplate and removing part of his afro of which he was so proud. Thanatos kidnaps Alex Sr. with the help of Frank Olsen (Raymond O'Connor), the corrupt security chief of Mason Systems (who is disposed of en route to the hideout), and demands of him to hand over the chip. When Alex Sr. (who stowed the chip in Kate's doll) refuses, Thanatos has Alex and Kate kidnapped in order to force him to comply. Despite a valiant effort, Sean is overpowered and Burt is taken as well, giving Thanatos an unexpected revenge bonus. But Sean manages to track down Thanatos, and with the help of his friends is able to beat the villains. As Thanatos prepares to charge Sean, Alex Sr. and the children activate an improvised electromagnet to launch him into space, leaving only his skullplate. The movie ends with Sean preparing to take a leave of absence from the Masons. But Alex and Kate intend to have him back much sooner - and therefore Sean falls victim to yet another prank.

In 1971, at the desegregated T. C. Williams High School, a black head coach Herman Boone (Washington) is hired to

lead the school's football team. Boone takes over from the current coach Bill Yoast (Patton), nominated for the Virginia High School Hall of Fame. As a show of respect, Boone offers an assistant coordinator coaching position to Yoast. Yoast at first refuses Boone's offer, but reconsiders after the white players pledge to boycott the team if he does not participate. Dismayed at the prospect of the students losing their chances at scholarships, Yoast changes his mind and takes up the position of defensive coordinator. Black and white football team members frequently clash in racially motivated conflicts at their football camp, including some between captain Gerry Bertier (Hurst), and Julius Campbell (Harris). But after forceful coaching and rigorous athletic training by Boone, which includes an early morning run to Gettysburg, and a motivational speech, the team achieves racial harmony and success. After returning from football camp, Boone is told by a member of the school board that if he loses even a single game, he will be fired. Subsequently, the Titans go through the season undefeated while battling racial prejudice, before slowly gaining support from the community. Just before the state semi-finals, Yoast is told by a member of the school board that he will be inducted into the Hall of Fame after the Titans lose one game, implying he wants Boone to be fired over his race. During the game, it becomes apparent that the referees are biased against the Titans. Yoast warns the head official that he will go to the press and expose the scandal unless it is refereed fairly. The Titans win, but Yoast is told that his actions have resulted in his loss of candidacy for induction. While celebrating the victory, Bertier is in an automobile accident, after driving through an intersection. Although Bertier could not play due to being paralyzed from the waist down, the team goes on to win the championship. Bertier would remain a paraplegic for the rest of his life. Ten years later Bertier dies in another automobile accident being hit by a drunk driver after winning the gold medal in shot put in the Paralympics. His family, coaches and friends reunite to attend his funeral. In the epilogue, we find out what happened to the players and coaches after the events: Herman Boone coached the Titans football team for five more years until he retired and is now living in Alexandria, Virginia. Bill Yoast assisted Boone for four more years, and he retired from coaching in 1990. They became good friends and continue their friendship today. Gerry Bertier was a two-time all American, and became a leader and inspiration to the handicapped community in Virginia. He was killed in a car crash with a drunk driver in 1981, and the gym at T.C. Williams was renamed after him. Big Julius Campbell was named to the 1971 all-American team. When his football days were over, he began working for the city of Alexandria. He and Bertier remained close friends until Gerry's death. Sheryl Yoast continued to help her father on the field. She died of heart disease in 1996 at age 36. Ronnie "Sunshine" Bass became a starting quarterback at the University of South Carolina. He lives in Greenville, South Carolina, and works for ABC. Petey Jones remained in Alexandria and works for Alexandria's school system. He still works there today. Jerry Harris, The "Rev", retired from football after the 1971 season. He attended Federal City College, and currently works for US Air. Lewis Lastik played four years of college football at Austin Peay State University. He graduated and became a successful businessman living in Tennessee. In addition to this, Coaches Yoast and Boone were given T.C. Williams Hall of Fame status near the end of 2014.

On his wedding day, Shiva (Vijay) discovers that his cousin and bride, Aruna, has run away because she does not

want to marry a cook. But he takes it lightly and moves to Chennai with the girl's brother (Shyam Ganesh) to look for a job. One night, he saves Sandya from some goons. In gratitude, she kisses him. Shiva starts to fall in love with Sandya. After several occasions where they bumped into each other, Shiva harbours hope that she too reciprocates his affections. However at Sandya's birthday party, she announces her engagement to computer engineer, Pratap (Yugendran). Shiva is devastated at the news and leaves the room quietly. Sandya finds him standing alone at the swimming pool. She asks him about his impression of Pratap and is shocked when Shiva reveals to her that he loves her. Sandya declares that she only feels friendship towards him and tells him to stop loving her. After receiving a telephone call, Shiva goes to the police station and finds Aruna. She had eloped to be with her lover. However, he later abandoned her and left her penniless. With no one to turn to, Aruna attempted suicide. Shiva takes her back home to take care of her. Aruna's brother was still angry and calls up their parents. Shiva speaks up for Aruna and gets the family to forgive her. Before returning to the village, Aruna meets Pratap and discovers that Sandya's fiance is actually the lover who abandoned her. On the eve of Sandya's wedding, she finally understands that she loves Shiva and tells her father (Manivannan) that she does not want to marry Pratap. Her father refuses to cancel the wedding and gives Shiva a cheque for 10 million to get the latter to leave Sandya. Sandya runs away on her wedding day to look for Shiva and confesses to him that she loves him too. She wants to elope with Shiva but he brings her back to the wedding venue. Before the ceremony starts, he calls Pratap into a room and closes the door. When the door reopens, Shiva and Pratap had changed clothes. Shiva is now in the groom's attire while Pratap is in ordinary clothes. Shiva marries Sandya in the end. On their wedding night, Shiva reveals to Sandya what happened between Pratap and him in the room.
