In this outing, the Godfather is joined by his grandson Shivaji Nagre(Amit Sadh), who loves and hates his grandfather with equal intensity. Will Shivaji betray Subhash? Or will he become a prey to his grandfather’s machinations? SARKAR 3 REVIEW: We have lived with the protagonist and premise of this franchise for 12 years now. That explains the sense of déjà vu while watching the third part. But it also accounts for the audience staying invested in Sarkar right from the start. Having lost his two sons Vishnu (Kay Kay Menon) and Shankar (Abhishek Bachchan) earlier, he has aged but not mellowed. Now he is kept insulated for the most part, by two lieutenants Gokul(Ronit) and Raman(Parag). His wife Pushpa(Supriya) is ailing and he does his best to shield her. Proceedings pick up with the entry of his estranged grandson Shivaji aka Cheeku. The hard-nosed youngster picks up the scent of traitourness from Gokul, who secretly aspires to supersede the don. Even as the power-struggle within the four walls of the Nagre home intensifies, outsiders like Govind Deshpande (Manoj), a power-hungry political aspirant, a greedy Dubai-based businessman, Michael Vallya(Jackie) and a power-broker Gandhi(Bajrangbali), make their own pitches to destroy Sarkar. Coming to the all-important question—is Ram Gopal Varma of Shiva, Satya, Company and the first part of Sarkar back in form? Well, you can see some flashes of the filmmaker’s intensity here. His Mahabharatha tale or palace politics as it is termed, plays out uninterruptedly. However there isn’t much intrigue because most of the twists are easy to guess. Some of the dialogue is pithy but then again, this accounts for little. The brooding palette of shadow and light that has been the trademark of this franchise is retained, as is the Govinda chant that works as a terrific background score. The Ganesh-aarti rendered by Bachchan is spellbinding; the iconic actor is also in top form, mesmerizing you with his grey shades and grey irises. For his legion of fans, this one is an important outing. Amit, Manoj, Jackie and Ronit lend weightage. However, the actresses--Yami, Supriya and Rohini are short-changed.

Bhallala Deva learns of Amarendra's attempts to woo Devasena and hatches a plot to drive a wedge between Amarendra and Sivagami by asking for Devasena's hand in marriage for himself. Sivagami unaware that Amarendra is in love with Devasena promises Bhalladeva, Devasenas hand in marriage. When Sivagami sends over a convoy to the kingdom of Kuntala, the Mahismati emissary makes the marriage proposal in an arrogant way.Devasena rejects the marriage proposal with harsh words.Sivagami is engraged to hear Devasenas response and orders that Devasena be brought to Mahismati as a captive. The kingdom of Kuntala is attacked by Pinjaris, a decoit like army.Amarendra ,with the help of Devasenas cousin, KumaraVarma are able to nullify the attack and save Kuntala. Amarendra reveals who he is, tries to allay the fears of Sivagami's rage and convinces Devasena to come with him to Mahismati, as his future bride. Upon reaching Mahismati the misunderstanding comes to light. Sivagami delivers an ulitmatum to Amarendra that he must either chose the throne or Devasena and he chooses the latter. Bhalladeva is coronated as the King and Amarendra is made the Commander in Chief but its quite obvious that Amarendra is still the peoples king. At Devasena's baby shower, Bhalladeva relieves Amarendra of his duties as Commander in chief so that Amarendra can be with his wife. Devasena immediately speaks out against the King's manipulation and the mute inaction of Sivagami.Due to further clashes, Devasena and Amarendra are banished from the Palace.Amarendra and Devasena live happily among the people . Balladeva hatches a plot to convince Sivagami that Amarendra is trying to assassinate him.Sivagami convinced that Balla deva's life is under threat and open action would result in factions and civil war, orders Katappa to assassinate Amarendra. Katappa bound by his word to serve the Queen, draws Amarendra by feigning as if he is in trouble, and then stabs him in the back and kills him. Katappa learns of Ballaladeva's treachery and informs Sivagami. Devasena too arrives to learn of her husbands death with her son, Mahendra Bahabali in her arms. Sivagami informs the panicked hordes outside her palace that Amarendra is dead and the baby,Mahendra is the new King. As Bhalladeva and his men are about to seize the Queen, she flees with Mahendra Bahubali. Devasena is taken prisoner. Mahendra Bahubali returns to the palace and defeats Bhalladeva and becomes the new King of Mahismati.

This rape-and-revenge thriller plays it strictly by the numbers: the heinous crime (involving the gang rape of a mother and daughter), the aftermath (involving unhelpful officers of the law) , the wounded woman picking up the cudgels and going after the perpetrators. The roll-out is as formulaic as they come, and sometimes that can be okay too, but a film like this needs to be deeply sensitive and alert to lift the sordidness of the material. Maatr fails on this score from the first frame, with its improbable plot-points, and relentless crassness: I cringed from beginning to end. In fact, much of it is jaw-droppingly horrifying. A cop, observing the scene of the crime says: ‘PM desh ko shape karne ki baat kar rahe hain, aur yeh rape ki baat kar rahi hai’. Seriously? Who writes these lines? There’ve been countless films made on this theme, which tie in standard strands of police procedural — crime thriller — rape-revenge fantasy, and we’ve come away from them disturbed, in the right way, to see how naked power and aggression can slam the victims to the ground, their legitimate pain never being acknowledged or addressed.

Angry, he confronts Walker and tells him that he wants out of the business. Walker talks him into one last bounty - retrieve Walker's son Travis (Seann William Scott) from a small mining town in Brazil and Walker will give him enough money to open his own restaurant. Beck

accepts and leaves for Brazil. When Beck arrives in the town of El Dorado he meets with the man running the mining operation, Mr. Hatcher (Christopher Walken). Hatcher gives Beck his blessing to grab Travis, but reneges when he finds out that Travis has discovered a missing golden artifact called "El Gato do Diabo". Beck confronts Hatcher and his men in the local bar and leaves with Travis. On the way back to the airfield, Travis forces their Jeep off the road and into the jungle. There he tries to escape but is re-captured by Beck. After an unfortunate encounter with some local monkeys, the two find themselves in the camp of the local resistance movement. At the resistance encampment, Travis convinces the rebels that Beck works for Hatcher and was sent to kill them all. After a prolonged fight, Beck gains the upper hand before the rebel leader Mariana (Rosario Dawson) intervenes. She wants Travis, as the Gato can be used to ensure the locals can free themselves from Hatcher. Hatcher suddenly attacks the camp, killing many rebels. Beck, Travis, and Mariana escape the camp and Beck makes Mariana a deal: she helps him get Travis to the airfield in exchange for the Gato. After some searching, Travis leads them to a cave behind a waterfall where the Gato is located. They retrieve it and begin the journey back. On the way back, Mariana chastises Travis for wanting to sell the artifact, but Travis argues that he actually did want to give it to a museum. Mariana gives the two men Konlobos, a toxic fruit that paralyzes the eater. As she tells Beck which direction the airfield is, she leaves them with the fire to keep the animals away. A chaffeur named Kishanlal (Pran) takes the blame for a fatal hit-and-run accident committed by his employer, the notorious mob boss Robert (Jeevan), on the assurance that his family's income will be tripled and their welfare looked after. He returns from prison to find his wife Bharati (Nirupa Roy) suffering from tuberculosis and his three sons starving. Seeking help from Robert for the sake of his family, he is ridiculed, humiliated and repudiated, until he turns on Robert and tries to kill him. Making his escape, Kishanlal inadvertently takes a car containing a shipment of gold bullion. Robert's goons give chase as Robert wants the gold back. Kishanlal goes home to rescue his family – only to find his wife's suicide note. Unknown to him, she fails and is struck blind. Kishanlal leaves his sons in a public park (at the foot of a statue of Gandhi) in order to draw off the pursuing goons to keep the boys away from harm. In the car chase that follows, he crashes and is presumed dead by the witnessing police, but is revealed to have survived. But by the time he returns to the park with the gold, his three sons have vanished. Amar (the middle son) has been nearly ran over by Robert's goons and rescued by a Hindu policeman; a Muslim tailor finds Raju (the youngest) and adopts him, naming him Akbar; and a Catholic priest (Nazir Hussain) finds Anthony (the oldest) asleep on the steps of his church and took him under his care. After 22 years, Amar (Vinod Khanna) becomes a policeman; Akbar (Rishi Kapoor) becomes a singer, and Anthony (Amitabh Bachchan) becomes a likeable, socially conscious scamp who runs quasi-legal operations and makes God his 'partner' by donating half his income to charity. The three meet when they donate blood for a hit-and-run victim, unaware that they are related that the recipient is their biological mother Bharati, who is currently selling flowers. In the meantime, Kishanlal used his gold to create his own criminal syndicate, destroying Robert's business and forcing a penniless Robert to work for him at a nearby dock. He also took in Robert's daughter Jenny as his niece before sending her to school in Europe. Robert becomes delighted to hear from Kishanlal that Jenny will return, but is distraught that Kishanlal won't let him see her, as he's still angry at Robert for making him lose his family. Eventually, the police arrives near Kishanlal's dock, forcing Kishanlal and his gang to disperse away from the scene. This allows Robert to escape away with another shipment of gold bullion, regaining his former place as mob boss and becoming Kishanlal's rival, determined to retrieve Jenny for himself and get back at Kishanlal for ruining his criminal empire. During the tide, each of the sons fell in love with the women they find: Akbar falls in love with his neighbor doctor Selma Ali, much to disapproval of Selma's father Tayyaib Ali, who later gives his blessings after Akbar saves him and Selma from a house fire. Amar falls in love with a one-time crook named Laxmi, taking her and her grandmother to his home after arresting her abusive stepmother. Also, Anthony falls in love with Jenny after meeting her in church. Around the same time, Bharati regains her sight at a Diwali festival in honor of Sai Baba hosted by Akbar, whom she recognized as her youngest son Raju. However, things get out of hand when Kishanlal is double-crossed by one of his bodyguards named Zubesko, who betrays Jenny to Robert in exchange for getting her hand in marriage, resulting Anthony's adoptive father to be murdered by Robert when he tries to stop them. Also, while witnessing Jenny's kidnapping, Laxmi ends up being kidnapped by her abusive brother Ranjeet, who is working for Robert. In their pursuit of justice against Robert, the brothers soon discover their mutual heritage with each other along with Kishanlal and Bharati, reuniting the family once again. Working together, the three brothers form a plan to bring Robert and his gang to justice. Posing as an elderly tailor, a one-man band, and a priest, the three brothers and Selma infiltrate into Robert's mansion, where Selma helps Jenny and Laxmi escape while the brothers finally reveal themselves and defeat Robert and the mobsters before sending them to jail for good. Despite justice being served for Robert and his gang, Kishanlal is sent back to prison for his past crimes, much to Bharati's dismay. However, Kishanlal comforts Bharati by telling her that their sons are reunited and have grown up, which is the only thing that matters to him the most. Kishanlal is then briefly released from his cell to share a heartfelt hug with his sons. The film ends with the three brothers and their loved ones happily riding into the sunset. The film was inspired by Pakistani diamond jubilee film Talash released in 1976 starring Shabnam, Nadeem and Babra Sharif.

Vishal Bhardwaj was supposed to shoot the film after Omkara (2006). However, the film was stalled for unknown reasons. It was previously titled with Julia. The screenplay was written by Matthew Robbins, who previously collaborated for 7 Khoon Maaf (2011).The film's shooting began on 18 November 2015 in Arunachal Pradesh.[16] Many junior artists from Manipur, Arunachal joined the crew for the first shift. This film is about the lives and travails of people living around a fictitious traffic signal in Mumbai. Anybody who drives in Mumbai has experienced the 2-odd minute wait at a traffic signal. The traffic signal includes a microcosm of people who derive their daily livelihoods from it. There are beggars (kids and adults), prostitutes, tricksters, eunuchs and others who sell clothes, flowers and trinkets. They speak quickly, act fast and operate somewhat honourably (with each other) to eke a meager living out of the harsh Mumbai street life. They owe allegiance and hafta (weekly "protection" fee) to the signal manager, Silsila (Kunal Khemu). Silsila grew up at the signal. He ran various trades there before he became the manager. He is an ideal manager: sensitive and caring of his workers yet ruthless when it comes to delivery. Silsila reports into a mid-level don, Jaffar, who in turn reports to the big boss Haji bhaijaan. Life is well at the signal. A gentle girl, Rani (Neetu Chandra), arrives at the signal to sell ethnic clothes. The initial fireworks blossom into deeper companionship with Silsila. Everything proceeds normally. Unbeknownst to Silsila, Haji bhaijaan is part of a larger nexus of evil that comprises politicians and the larger Mafia. Haji must play a dangerous game where he is forced to invoke the unwitting pawn, Silsila, to start a series of events that could ultimately destroy the traffic signal. Silsila is unaware of the larger consequences as he carries out his orders without question. But reality dawns on him when he is apprehended in a case of murder, extortion and bribery where he was hardly aware of things. The signal faces destruction. Silsila's world, and all the people who grew up with it, face extinction. Silsila is forced to make a choice between his life and his world. As his life moves from Green to Red, he may only hope that the signal moves from Red to Green.

Maruthu (Vishal) is a labourer from Rajapalayam who personally does not tolerate injustice anywhere. He leads a happy life with his grandmother Appathaa (Kulappulli Leela) and his younger brother Kokkarako (Soori). One day, he encounters Bhagyalakshmi alias Bhagyam (Sri Divya), a bold young woman, at a temple, but their first meeting does not go well due to a misunderstanding and he ends up at a police station. However, with the help of Appathaa, Maruthu soon manages to win Bhagyam's heart. One day, he sees some goons chasing Bhagyam and her father near the market where he is working. Maruthu beats up the goons and then learns from Bhagyam's father why the goons are after them. Bhagyam was the daughter of Mariyamma (Aadhira Pandilakshmi), a brave woman who stood up to the atrocities committed by the municipal chairman Rolex Pandiyan (R. K. Suresh) on the local people. When she decided to contest against Pandiyan in the upcoming municipal election, Pandiyan and his men brutally hacked her to death and stuffed all her body parts except her head into a bag. Bhagyam and her father are unable to prove in court that Pandiyan committed the murder since there is no head and the police inspector is Pandiyan's henchman. They are also threatened of dire consequences by Pandiyan if they continue to target him. Appathaa, who witnessed Mariyamma's brutal murder and upset that she did not stop it, gets Maruthu married to Bhagyam the next day to repent her earlier actions, and Maruthu also promises to avenge the death of Mariyamma. A cat-and-mouse game soon begins between Maruthu and Pandiyan, with Pandiyan using all means to stop Bhagyam and Appathaa from going to court and testifying against him, to no avail. At the court, Appathaa testifies against Pandiyan, and a warrant is issued to arrest him. In retribution, Pandiyan kidnaps Appathaa and brutally tortures her to death.
