Adaa (Minissha Lamba) is a Kashmiri woman torn between her army officer lover Aman (Jimmy Shergill) and her jihadi insurgent brother Shakeel (Yashpal Sharma). Trouble ensues when Aman's superiors come to know of his involvement with the sister of a terrorist and

implicate him as an accomplice. Thus, Adaa begins a valiant attempt to save Aman from the perils of a court-martial and Shakeel is torn between his family's happiness and safety and his own jehadi cause.Kashmir is in turmoil because of terrorists trying to take over the land and the Indian army trying to find and eliminate them. Army commander Aman meets Adaa when posted to Kashmir to fight the insurgents. Adaa lives with her father, grandmother and a mute adopted sister. Adaa's brother Shakeel has joined hands with the terrorists to gain a free Kashmir. Circumstances soon lead to Aman and Adaa falling in love. Aman does not let the army know about his new relationship. He is given the task of finding and eliminating terrorists; he captures their leader, who happens to be Shakeel's mentor. Adaa's family learns about her affair with Aman. Her grandmother approves of the relationship, but her father requests Aman to stay away from them, as their love will not be approved in that place. A disappointed Aman is then given another mission. Acting on a tip off, he and his men go to raid a terrorist hideout but are attacked by the terrorists. Many insurgents are killed, and Aman and four comrades are taken captive by Shakeel. They demand the release of their leader from the government in exchange for the soldiers. But Adaa finds her brother's hideout, goes there, and pleads with him not to harm Aman. Using the opportunity, Aman breaks free and escapes with Adaa, just as the army besieges the place and rescues the captured army men. Now Aman and Adaa's affair becomes known to the army. Suspicion falls on Aman that he is in-hand with the terrorists, as he is not at their hideout, and he has run off with Adaa. As soon as he arrives in the city, he is arrested and court marshaled. Adaa does all she can to help Aman. She goes to the chief minister, who agrees to help her but on the condition that she deny any relationship with Aman in public, as it can affect the reputation of the army. Adaa does not agree to that. Instead, on the advice of her mute sister, writes a letter to the prime minister, telling him her story and seeking help for Aman. As luck would have it, she is called by a TV channel for a live interview and to tell her story to the world. This news spreads, and the terrorists are irked. They advise Shakeel to put an end to it all: He takes over a mosque, holding people hostage in exchange for their leader and Adaa's silence. They also bomb Adaa's house (at their leader's orders), injuring her grandmother gravely. Adaa decides to broadcast live, no matter what. Shakeel demands from the government that he negotiate with the man who had relationship with his sister: Aman. In the climax, Aman enters the mosque alone and faces Shakeel. Shakeel beats him black and blue, then sees that his father is one of the hostages in the mosque. At the same time, Adaa tells her story live on TV. Everyone listens to the heart-touching tale of the two lovers and a plea for Shakeel to return. Aman tells Shakeel that the terrorist leader had bombed Shakeel's house and his grandmother is in hospital. The terrorists then decide to leave, holding a man and few hostages as guard. As soon as they step out, pre-planned by Aman who is wearing a bulletproof jacket, a sniper commando shoots him. He falls from the impact, thus giving the sniper chance to aim at other terrorists. The army invades and forces the other terrorists to surrender. In the end, Adaa arrives and they leave the scene together.

Kavya Krishna (Paoli Dam) and her best friend, Vicky, pull an anti-operation against one of the biggest business

tycoons, which happens to be Siddharth Dhanrajgir's company. They take pictures of a few black-business deals and write an article that gets published. Siddharth, being a rich and cocky tycoon, wants revenge, so he calls Kavya up for coffee. He offers her a job in his company with a three hundred percentage raise in income, and Kavya accepts his offer immediately. They go on a business trip together, and Kavya helps Siddharth get his company a good deal. That night, Siddharth takes Kavya to dinner, where they both connect romantically and end up having sex. Upon returning, Kavya meets Vicky and gives him the gifts she got for him and says 'I love my job'. An upset Vicky is silent and sad, but does not show his feelings. The next day, Kavya goes to work and finds out that her entry pass to the office has been cancelled. She goes to talk to Siddharth, who arrogantly talks about his plan and pulls a gun out, tortures her, and says that he never had any feelings for her; he just wanted revenge for the sting operation she pulled. He tells her that he punishes people who mess with him, and tells her to get out of his office. Heartbroken, Kavya leaves and applies for another job, with Vicky's support. While Vicky is dropping her, she runs out of the car and vomits. He takes her to the doctor, only to find out that she is now pregnant. Kavya immediately meets Siddharth again, and he once again humiliates her, but she informs him that she is pregnant and says that she can prove that it's Siddharth's child (through DNA testing). That night, Siddharth calls her and pretends to be sorry for what happened. Kavya immediately runs to meet him. He kidnaps her, kills the fetus, takes out her ovaries, and dumps her. Kavya becomes a sex worker and sleeps with many people to get to Siddharth. First she contacts the CEO of Cementec, Rajdev Singh, sleeps with him and without his knowledge copies email from his phone. From there she comes to know that Cementec is going to do a joint venture with a German company due to which all shares of Delhi Cements company will fall. She leaks this information to Delhi Cements Chairman at the cost of ₹ 40 million. She reveals this to Siddharth and challenges him that she will destroy him. Siddharth then puts cameras all over her house without her knowledge but she somehow comes to know and uses his weapon against him only. Due to this Cementec suffers a loss of ₹ 100 billion. Siddharth kills Rajdev and puts the blame on Kavya by showing fake evidences. Kavya takes Cabinet minister's help to escape from jail by blackmailing him. She also offers to sleep with him at the cost of recovering the police file which contains her name and nominating her to the post of director of IIBI bank which holds accounts details of Cementec. After becoming the board member of Cementec, Kavya asks for balance sheets, all files access and all accounts passwords for tally. She goes through all papers with the help of Vicky and comes to know that Cementec has done a big scam. Kavya exposes this scam in the Annual General Meeting of Cementec. Finally Siddharth is arrested for stealing millions from share holders. Kavya goes back to her own house to get the watch gifted to her by Vicky. There she finds Rajdev's wife waiting for her with a gun. Rajdev's wife shoots Kavya thinking that she killed her husband. After killing Kavya she shoots herself too. The movie ends with Kavya's background voice saying, "Mare hue log kabar se nahi dara karte, Vicky...".(Dead people are not scared of Grave.)
